About us

SPFST is the Swedish association of psychiatric trainees  founded in 2005.
It has about 150 members out of approximately 400 Swedish trainees.
The association is open for trainees specialising in adult psychiatry, child and adolescent psychiatry, addiction psychiatry and forensic psychiatry.

It aimes to build a strong network among the trainees, improve the trainees education standards, increase the possibility with foreign exchange and develop psychiatry.

SPFST is represented internationally by its membership  in the European Federation of Psychatric Trainees.
